The varsity girls basketball team dropped its second game in a row, falling 61-38 on the road at River Thursday night.
River raced out to an 18-6 first quarter lead and held a 29-17 intermission edge. Bridgeport cut the deficit to 36-30 in the third quarter but the Lady Pilots scored the final seven of the third to lead 43-30 after three.
Junior Kamden Dulesky led the way with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman Jaren Tucker added eight markers and junior Marissa Beal had seven. Deja Massey had five points and eight rebounds.
